On 30 Sep 2026, Kongsberg signed about NOK 11.5 billion in air defence contracts on 29 Sep: NOK 10 billion for NASAMS to Belgium (Dutch Armed Forces procurement authority buying on behalf of the Belgian Air Force) plus about NOK 1.5 billion to expand the Netherlands CITADEL programme with several NOMADS short-range systems and more NASAMS capacity (company, 29 Sep). Same day, Kongsberg also signed with Oshkosh Defense Europe for counter-drone kits on JLTVs for the Netherlands; value undisclosed.
Why it matters: Belgium joins the NASAMS club and the Dutch deepen CITADEL in one day. That is serial European air defence output, not another concept slide.

Helsing said its Centaur AI pilot beat experienced human pilots in simulated dogfights for the CA-1 Europa unmanned combat jet, shown to German Digital Minister Karsten Wildberger in Munich. The company cites ~1,300 staff (~7x 2024), a $1.8 billion raise in July, the 2025 Grob acquisition, an 11-metre / 4-tonne takeoff jet, and a first flight targeted next year (dpa, 29 Sep).
Why it matters: A European UCAV path just moved from Munich pitch to a named AI pilot that wins in the sim. Product flip worth an edition: neo-prime flight path, not another autonomy demo reel.

Denmark's FMI bought nine Dropla 4x4 UGVs for training at the Danish Defense Drone Centre, including with conscripts. Value undisclosed. Dropla Tech is a Danish-Ukrainian firm headquartered in Odense; the Danish variant arrived without a weapons mount while FMI explores a remote weapon station and comms (FMI via RBC-Ukraine, 28-29 Sep).
Why it matters: NATO training floors are buying Ukrainian-founded ground robots. That is how wartime kit becomes Allied doctrine, one UGV at a time.

Estonian-Ukrainian DoD Solution raised $2.1 million pre-seed for AURA AI, its onboard drone autonomy stack (visual nav, perception, tracking, terminal guidance in GPS-denied / link-constrained settings). Draganfly joined as a strategic investor; no valuation or lead disclosed (company via AdriaDefense, announced 28 Sep).
Why it matters: Onboard autonomy is the scarce layer when jamming kills the uplink. Small Baltic-Ukrainian rounds keep stacking the software Europe needs on the airframe.
